Chief Technology Officer

Position: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Location: Mumbai (5 days work from office)

Industry: Pharmaceutical Inspection Solutions / Product Engineering

About the Role:

We are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer to lead technology strategy, product innovation, and engineering delivery for a global leader in pharmaceutical inspection solutions. This role offers the opportunity to shape next-generation products across software, hardware, and cloud platforms while driving a culture of innovation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead technology vision, strategy, and execution across three core product lines:

- .NET / C# / React / NodeJS

- C++ / Image Processing / AI

- MERN Stack / Cloud Applications

- Manage and mentor a high-performing team of 60 to 70 engineers, including Senior Engineering Managers and Tech Architects.

- Oversee transformation projects, product upgrades, and SaaS-based offering development.

- Drive end-to-end product lifecycle: from concept to delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

- Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies to maintain competitive edge.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders to align tech roadmap with business goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

- 15+ years in technology/product development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership/CTO role.

- Proven track record of managing large engineering teams and delivering enterprise-grade products.

- Strong background in cloud-native architectures, AI/ML, image processing, and modern tech stacks.

- Experience in transformation and modernization of legacy products.
