Job Objective-

The Chief Technical Officer will lead the technical operations of the weaving plant, ensuring optimal machine performance, process efficiency, and quality standards. This role involves driving technological innovation, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and research partners to achieve business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Issue Resolution & Root Cause Analysis

- Conduct detailed root cause analysis of technical issues and implement effective solutions on the shop floor.

- Ensure timely troubleshooting and preventive measures to minimize downtime.

Machine Performance & Efficiency

- Ensure machines operate at PBG speeds and maintain weaving plant performance at 85% efficiency with the right quality standards.

- Monitor and optimize machine utilization and productivity.

Cost Optimization & Vendor Collaboration

- Work closely with spinning teams and vendors to optimize bought-out costs without compromising quality.

Technological Upgrades & Innovation

- Interact with OEMs for technological upgrades and implement innovative technical solutions.

- Stay updated on industry advancements and integrate best practices into operations.

Fabric Sampling & Development

- Study feasibility of new fabric samples from a weaving perspective and resolve challenges at the sampling stage.

- Engage in development of new weaves and blends to meet market demands.

Research & Knowledge Partnerships

- Collaborate with research institutes and knowledge partners for continuous improvement and innovation.

Growth & Expansion Projects

- Lead technical aspects of growth and expansion projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business goals.

Documentation & Training

- Prepare manuals, SOPs, and training documents for technical processes.

- Conduct training sessions to enhance technical competency across teams.

Quality & Productivity Initiatives

- Drive effective implementation of Quality Circles and MMM (Man, Machine, Material) initiatives on the shop floor.

Must Capacity handled - has 1.5 lakh meters per day, with an actual daily output of approximately 1 lakh meters with Experience In Texpa machine

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Textile Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

- Minimum 12 years of experience in weaving operations and technical leadership roles.

- Strong knowledge of weaving machinery, process optimization, and textile production.

- Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage large-scale operations.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.

- Familiarity with cost optimization strategies and vendor management
