Job Summary: As the Chief Technical Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and shaping the technology strategy, vision, and execution for Client. You will play a pivotal role in leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency, improve customer experience, and drive innovation in the insurance industry. This position reports directly to the CEO and is a critical member of the executive leadership team. Key Responsibilities: - Technology Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the company's business objectives, ensuring that technology initiatives support our long-term growth and profitability. - Digital Transformation: Lead the digital transformation efforts of the organization, identifying opportunities to enhance customer experience, streamline processes, and adopt emerging technologies. - Innovation and Research: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, conducting research and evaluating potential technology partners to drive innovation within the company. - IT Governance: Establish and maintain IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure effective and secure technology operations, including data protection and cybersecurity. - Infrastructure and Architecture: Oversee the design and maintenance of robust IT infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. - Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. - Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and third-party service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met. - Budget Management: Develop and manage the technology budget, optimizing resource allocation and cost-effectiveness. - Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technology-related risks, ensuring business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in place. - Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure that the company's technology operations comply with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. - Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with other members of the executive team, providing clear and regular communication on technology-related matters. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. - Proven track record of at least 10 years in senior technology leadership roles, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry. - Strong understanding of the Indian insurance market and regulatory environment. - Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. - Excellent leadership and team management capabilities. - Experience in digital transformation initiatives and innovation. - Demonstrated ability to manage complex IT projects and budgets. - Knowledge of cybersecurity and data protection best practices. - Strong vendor management and negotiation skills. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to adapt to a dynamic and rapidly evolving business environment.
