We're seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Sales Officer to lead the sales engine of our fast-growing FMCG brand. This role demands a visionary leader with deep expertise in both General Trade and Modern Trade channels, capable of scaling distribution, driving revenue, and building high-performance teams across India.

Key Responsibilities

- Sales Strategy & Execution: Design and implement national sales strategies across GT and MT to achieve aggressive growth targets.

- Channel Development: Expand and optimize GT networks (distributors, retailers) and MT partnerships (key accounts, chains, e-commerce).

- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and empower zonal and regional sales teams to deliver consistent performance.

- P&L Ownership: Drive profitability through pricing, trade schemes, and cost-effective route-to-market models.

- Market Intelligence: Monitor consumer trends, competitor activity, and channel dynamics to inform agile decision-making.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure seamless execution and brand visibility.

Ideal Profile

- 12+ years of FMCG sales experience with proven success in GT and MT leadership roles.

- Strong analytical mindset with a bias for action and results.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and team-building skills.

- Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

- Currently based in Mumbai (non-negotiable)
