Job Description : Chief Sales & Marketing Officer (CMO)
Reporting to: CEO
Role Purpose:
The Chief Sales and Marketing Officer will lead the overall sales and marketing strategy for a large, multi-project real estate portfolio, driving revenue growth, brand strength, and customer engagement. The role will own the end-to-end project lifecycle from concept, launch, sales, delivery, and sustenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Leadership:
- Own sales and marketing performance across a large real estate portfolio
- Drive pre-sales, launch success, absorption velocity, and inventory liquidation
- Work closely with Sales teams to achieve business targets through direct, digital, and channel-led strategies
Project Lifecycle Ownership:
- Lead project positioning, pricing inputs (in coordination with business), GTM strategy, and launch planning
- Own project branding, marketing campaigns, and sustenance strategies throughout the lifecycle
- Ensure strong alignment between product, pricing, marketing, and sales execution
Marketing Strategy & Brand Building:
- Define and execute corporate and project-level brand strategy
- Drive ATL, BTL, Digital, Performance Marketing, PR, and Events
- Ensure consistent brand communication and market differentiation
Digital, CRM & Customer Experience (Added Advantage):
- Leverage digital and performance marketing for demand generation and efficiency
- Exposure to CRM systems and customer lifecycle management is an added advantage
- Enable better lead management, conversion, customer engagement, and referrals
Channel & Ecosystem Management:
- Build and scale channel partner networks
- Drive productivity, engagement, and compliance across CPs
- Manage agencies, vendors, and marketing partners
Leadership & Governance:
- Build and lead large, cross-functional sales & marketing teams
- Own budgets, ROI tracking, and governance frameworks
- Act as a strategic advisor on market trends, competition, and growth opportunities
Qualifications & Experience:
- MBA / PGDM in Marketing or equivalent
- 17-25+ years of experience in real estate sales & marketing
- Proven experience managing large, complex real estate portfolios
- Strong exposure to end-to-end project marketing lifecycle
- CRM exposure is a strong plus
