Chief GRC- Governance, Risk & Compliance Level : Functional Head role(CXO LEVEL) Reports to : CEO Job Purpose : - Develop a pro-active government affairs strategy that is aligned with the group's overall goals and objectives. - Build high-level relationships across stakeholders to ensure the company is well-positioned to identify and capitalise opportunities to actively engage in the policy making process. - Be the custodian of driving strong advocacy and governance across the organization by focusing on diverse functions like Legal, Risk & Compliance, Corporate Governance & Excellence. Strategic responsibilities : - Develop and drive execution of a pro-active government relations, advocacy and legislative strategy for the group across all active geographies - Develop strategy and plans to engage and influence a wide range of national, local, and supranational policymakers, industry organization's, and non-governmental organization's across policy issues - Develop and monitor the implementation of risk management strategy and framework including operational and technology risk management - Develop and deploy the organizations legal and regulatory strategy and policy framework in line with prevalent industry trends and changing legal requirements - Design and define the overarching strategy around corporate affairs, governance and CSR initiatives for the company Functional Responsibility : - Establish and maintain high-level relationships in order to influence a wide array of stakeholders (Ministry of Civil Aviation, DGCA, Labour Ministry, Foreign governments / regulators, other stakeholders) that could impact the group's business interests - Identify, anticipate, and advise on political and legislative developments, risks and opportunities (across the globe) which affect our business - Maintain strong relations with industry leaders and regularly represent the company at industry forums Educational and Experience Requirements : Masters/MBA/PGDM/PGP/PG degree Experience : - Minimum 20 years plus experience of corporate experience with at least 18 plus years in corporate affairs, regulatory and compliance management related areas. - Has exposure to handling stakeholders (regulatory authority, government, etc.) - Preference for candidates with aviation industry knowledge Contact: +91 9910045706/ swarnasree@talentartpartners.com
