Enterprise Risk - Role Summary:
- Lead and oversee divisional risk management, focusing on developing, implementing, and maintaining effective internal controls and oversight.
- Manage risk initiatives with significant scope and complexity, including identifying, analyzing, and mitigating financial, operational, market, and regulatory risks.
- Hire, supervise, and develop team members, setting standards and making compensation decisions per HR policies.
- Design and guide divisional risk programs in line with strategic and operational frameworks.
- Establish and enforce risk and control management standards, providing leadership on emerging risks and communicating plans clearly.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders to foster a strong risk culture and ensure controls are operating effectively.
- Provide consultation and analytical support on internal controls and collaborate with leadership to embed risk management in technology and operational changes.
- Develop metrics, dashboards, and reporting systems to monitor controls and risk exposures, and report findings to department leadership.
- Ensure division's readiness for regulatory inspections, address process gaps proactively/reactively, and recommend changes as needed.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on industry risk management practices and stay updated on regulatory developments.
- Lead special projects, support identification of critical asset vulnerabilities, and drive risk modeling initiatives for event probability and impact assessment.
- Align divisional insurance and risk reporting strategies with enterprise requirements, ensuring data reliability and stakeholder responsiveness.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 12 years overall experience, with at least 8 years in risk management or internal controls; team leadership strongly preferred.
- Degree in accounting, finance, commerce, economics, engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Advanced expertise in risk identification, modeling, internal controls, and regulatory reporting. Proven leadership and strategic influence.
Location - Based in Hyderabad, Telangana at the India office.
