Chief Risk Officer (CRO)

We're looking for a seasoned and strategic Chief Risk Officer (CRO) with over 20 years of experience in banking to lead our risk management division.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and a proven track record of developing and implementing robust risk management strategies.

This senior leadership role is perfect for a retired professional from a PSU or private sector bank who has reached the level of General Manager (GM) or above.

Key Responsibilities

- Risk Strategy & Framework: You will be responsible for developing and implementing the bank's comprehensive risk management framework, policies, and strategies.

- Your work will ensure the bank's resilience against a wide range of financial and non-financial risks.

- Risk Assessment & Mitigation: You'll oversee the effective assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of risks across key areas, including credit, operational, compliance, and strategic risks.

- Your focus will be on aligning all risk activities with strict regulatory requirements.

- Regulatory Alignment: You will act as the key liaison between the bank's risk functions and regulatory bodies, ensuring full compliance and proactive management of all regulatory changes.

- Risk Management: Deep expertise in developing and implementing bank-wide risk management frameworks.

- Regulatory Knowledge: A comprehensive understanding of banking regulatory requirements and frameworks.

- Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage risk mitigation strategies across multiple domains (credit, operational, compliance, strategic).

- Financial Acumen: Strong skills in financial analysis and risk assessment.

Experience & Education

- Experience: A minimum of 20+ years of professional banking experience, with significant exposure to risk management.

The candidate should be retired from a PSU or Private Sector Bank at the level of General Manager (GM) or above.

- Education: A postgraduate degree is required.

Certifications such as Financial Risk Manager (FRM), Chartered Accountant (CA), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) are strongly preferred
