Client is a modern banking infrastructure provider in India & South Asia region, empowering financial enterprises with embedded fintech solutions for their customers.

Our Client is one of the few certified partners with National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI), VISA for various products.

Our customer list includes Fintech start-ups, top tier private banks to PSU bank. We operate in five countries and help customers constantly change the way financial institutions operate and innovate.

Position: Chief Revenue Officer

Reports to - CEO

Key Responsibilities

1. Revenue Ownership & Transaction Economics Leadership

- Lead revenue growth across issuing (Prepaid, Debit, Credit) and acquiring (POS, Payment Gateways, UPI, BBPS) businesses.

2. Sales Leadership & Customer Lifecycle Management

- Lead sales, account management, and customer success teams to drive revenue growth and client retention.

3. Go-To-Market (GTM) Architecture & Expansion Strategy

- Build vertical-focused sales motions across PSU banks, private banks, large fintechs, and cross-border payment segments.

- Optimize pricing strategy (SaaS, usage-based, and blended models) to maximize revenue and competitiveness.

4. Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Leadership

- Own and strengthen relationships with key ecosystem partners, including card networks (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), banking partners (issuers, sponsor banks), technology providers (core banking, fraud, KYC) and cloud infrastructure providers such as Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform.

5. Revenue Operations & Funnel Optimization

- Align the end-to-end revenue funnel across Marketing, Sales, Implementation, and Customer Success to ensure seamless execution and growth.

- Improve sales cycle efficiency (typically 6-12 months in banking infrastructure), conversion rates, and client on boarding velocity.

- Establish strong CRM discipline, enhance pipeline visibility, and implement KPI dashboards (CAC, LTV, payback) for data-driven performance management.

6. Banking Sales & Deal Strategy

- Lead large, complex enterprise deals across banks, issuers, fintechs (neobanks, wallets, BNPL), and enterprise merchants (e-commerce platforms).

- Structure and negotiate high-value commercial agreements, including multi-year contracts, revenue-share models, and scheme-linked pricing (VISA, Mastercard, RuPay).

Requirements - Experience & Expertise

- 15+ years of experience in payments, fintech, or banking infrastructure

- Strong exposure to issuer processing, acquiring, and payment gateway ecosystems


- Deep understanding of card networks and scheme economics (interchange, MDR, network fees)

- Demonstrated success in scaling revenue across multiple geographies and markets

Skills & Core Competencies

- Deep understanding of the payments stack (authorization, clearing, settlement) and end-to-end transaction lifecycle

- Ability to navigate regulatory environments and manage complex stakeholder ecosystems across banks, fintechs, and partners
