Chief Projects Officer (CPO)
Location: Hyderabad
Reporting To: Promoter Group / Board
Role Overview:
The Chief Projects Officer (CPO) will own the entire lifecycle of large and complex hospital developments, acting as the single point of accountability across land feasibility, government liaisoning, design management, project execution, supply chain, and commercial controls. The role will work closely with the promoter group and senior leadership to translate long-term strategic vision into world-class healthcare infrastructure assets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Expansion & Land Feasibility:
- Lead identification and feasibility evaluation of new hospital sites, shaping expansion strategy from the earliest stages.
- Conduct technical, financial, and regulatory feasibility assessments for potential developments.
2. Government Liaison & Regulatory Approvals:
- Own all statutory approvals and government liaisoning across multiple jurisdictions.
- Ensure timely acquisition of licenses, permits, and development clearances.
3. Design Leadership:
- Set the design vision for new hospital infrastructure projects.
- Manage leading architects, healthcare planners, engineering consultants, and project partners.
4. Project Execution & Delivery:
- Deliver large-scale capital expenditure projects within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Establish strong project governance and execution frameworks for multi-project delivery.
5. Procurement & Commercial Controls:
- Build and oversee robust procurement, supply chain, and vendor management systems.
- Implement cost control, billing, and commercial governance frameworks for large-scale projects.
6. Project Governance:
- Create scalable project management structures and reporting mechanisms as the project portfolio expands.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
1. Experience:
- Minimum 18+ years of experience in infrastructure development, construction, or healthcare infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale greenfield or expansion projects.
2. Education:
- B.Tech / B.E. from a reputed engineering institution.
- MBA from a leading business school preferred.
3. Leadership Attributes:
- Strong blend of technical depth and commercial acumen.
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
- Comfortable working closely with promoters, investors, and senior leadership teams.
- Proven capability to build and lead high-performing project teams.
