ABOUT THE ROLE - 15 to 20 years of overall work experience - The role is one of the top most positions in the company and by joining at the early stage of its journey; the successfully appointed rockstar will get the opportunity to build a tech-first brand in India and own the entire Tech and Product play for the company. - Reporting to the Co-Founder & CEO and working very closely with the other two Co-founders, the role will be responsible for building the entire tech platform to meet overall business objectives. - The individual will build and lead a team of engineers and product folks to drive innovation and growth for the company. IDEAL CANDIDATE - The ideal candidate will be an individual who has worked across Product and Engineering roles in high-growth e-commerce startups. - Managed and led Engineering and product teams - Proven track record of owning and driving multi-stakeholder technology projects - The ideal candidate will also be a top performer and leader, a skilled problem solver, high energy yet outcome-focused, super excited about creating and building a new-age brand/company, naturally entrepreneurial and possessing a high degree of comfort with fast-paced and an ever-evolving space KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Partner with business leaders in the development of short- and long-term product & engineering strategies for the company's online platform, product development, supply chain, store technologies amongst other areas. - Develop and leverage a deep understanding of the company product and business requirements and provide the direction to align the business needs with the Product and Engineering roadmaps. - Lead and mentor a team of product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver innovative products and solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth. - Develop and manage the budget, allocating resources effectively to achieve business goals. - Oversee the development and maintenance of the company's technology infrastructure, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and reliable. - Create overall technology standards and practices and ensure adherence. EDUCATION - A post graduate degree from a premier / well known institute in India / abroad would be a huge plus - A degree in Engineering
