THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Operating Officer will serve primary growth and execution engine. This is not a purely operational mandate it is a value-creation role for a leader who can simultaneously drive revenue, build scalable systems, and develop the next generation of leadership within a 200+ member organization.

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Team Size: 200+ Professionals

Industry: U.S. Tax & Accounting Outsourcing Company Age: 25+ Years

WHAT YOU WILL LEAD

Revenue Growth & Client Expansion

- Scale revenue across existing service lines U.S. Tax, Accounting, and Bookkeeping through deeper client engagement and operational excellence

- Drive upselling and wallet-share expansion within company established client base

- Collaborate with CEO and senior leadership to support new client acquisition, positioning company's capabilities competitively

Lead the development and commercialization of high-value new service offerings:

- Audit Support

- IPO Readiness

- Fractional Controllership

- Business Advisory Services

Operational Excellence & Margin Improvement

- Establish and govern KPIs and SLAs across all service lines to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery

- Identify and execute margin-improvement initiatives through process redesign and resource optimization

- Champion technology-enabled delivery leveraging automation, RPA, AI, and workflow tools to enhance quality and throughput

- Build scalable operating infrastructure that supports aggressive growth without compromising delivery standards

People, Culture & Leadership Development

- Scale, mentor, and inspire a 200+ member organization through a performance-driven culture

- Build out the next layer of leadership developing managers and directors capable of owning service lines independently

- Strengthen a client-centric, accountable culture aligned withcompany's values and growth ambitions.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

Background & Experience

- 10+ years of progressive leadership, with at least 5 years at Senior Manager, Director, or above

- Experience in a professional services outsourcing firm, Global Capability Centre (GCC), or offshore delivery organization serving U.S. clients

- Demonstrated domain familiarity with U.S. Tax, Accounting, or adjacent financial services is a strong advantage

Growth & Revenue Track Record

- Proven success upselling and expanding client relationships with measurable revenue or wallet-share growth outcomes

- Experience supporting or leading new client acquisition in a B2B services environment

- Track record of launching and scaling new service lines from concept to commercialization

Operational & Technology Capabilities

- Strong operational discipline: KPI design, SLA governance, process optimization, and margin management

- Hands-on experience deploying automation, RPA, AI, or workflow technologies to improve service delivery

- Data-driven decision-making with the ability to translate insights into action at scale

Leadership & Interpersonal Skills

- Demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and scale high-performance offshore teams

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills comfortable engaging U.S.-based CPA firm clients and internal leadership equally

- Growth mindset, strategic agility, and a strong sense of ownership
