Chief Operating Officer - Textile (Woven /Knitted) Summary : - The COO - Textile will be the leadership role managing the entire campus of 225 acres comprising of WPD (Woven's Processing division), KPD (Knits Processing Division), Spinning Mill, Utilities, Hostels etc. All HOD's will have a functional reporting to their CXO's in the Corporate as well. - This role will be responsible for smooth running of the campus with management of internal as well as external stakeholders. Alignment between functions, operational support and efficiencies, optimization of best practices and talent management between units will be a key deliverable for this role. Key Responsibilities : - Provide leadership to the following functions : a. Operations b. Production c. HR/ IR d. Administration e. IT f. Audit g. Compliance h. Safety - Ensure profitability targets of the campus are met with resource optimization projects. - Spearhead the expansion projects by providing leadership to project management and equipment sourcing, erection and commissioning as per agreed timelines. - Smooth running of the campus by managing all enablement functions of the campus like maintenance, compliance, safety etc. Person Specification : - BTech - Textile and MBA. - Min. 21 yrs. in-depth Experience in manufacturing campuses. Formative years in Technical production, commercial functions, growing in to manage the P&L of large manufacturing campuses. - Charismatic leader who can motivate and drive multifunctional team towards a common goal. - Excellent eye for details and exceptional analytical skills to ensure best in class manufacturing operations.
