- To manage end-to-end activities from planning, monitoring, controlling phases of project lifecycle to overall inter-discipline coordination & administration and managing progress monitoring with assured quality & budget
- Controlling projects with respect to cost, resource deployment, time overruns and quality compliance to ensure satisfactory execution of projects; conducting weekly progress review meetings with team, contractors & consultants and identifying bottlenecks/hold-points; monitoring site progress with respect to the master network and approved construction schedule; implementing modifications and improvements in completion schedule (both macro & micro)
- Overseeing correspondences with Consultants, Contractors, Government Authorities
- Strategizing standardized project management methodologies, cost controls, and best practices; managing daily operations & resources, and developing creative solutions to broad issues
- Reviewing project plan, deciding project milestones, evaluating actual resources requirement, improving productivity norms as per site conditions and preparing supplier schedules
- Monitoring project schedule & time cycles and finding anticipated delays / deviations in advance with corrective action plan
- Networking with architects / consultants / clients / contractors to ascertain technical specifications and construction related essentials based on the prevalent rules
- Scrutinizing day-to-day progress and preparing weekly report; attending project & review meetings & discussions with the client during preparation & execution phase
- Anchoring on-site construction activities to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effective resource utilization to maximize output
- Ensuring adherence to timelines and cost calculation in compliance with the specifications & requirements in the contracts, QHSE regulations, country laws/regulations and contractor's requirements
- Leading project strategic plans with risk assessment, budgeting, liquidity planning & cost management and ensuring mobilization of adequate resources & logistics at site
- Performing cost comparison analysis of subcontractors vs. self-performance to maintain cost controls; reviewing material/subcontractor invoices for approval
- Creating & sustaining a dynamic environment that fosters development opportunities & motivates high performance amongst team members
