Position Overview:

- The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Chief Operating Officer (COO) will provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the organization. The CEO/COO will drive business growth, ensure operational excellence, strengthen client relationships, and uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

- The CEO/COO will also focus on building and managing a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and execute long-term strategies aligned with the company's mission, vision, and growth objectives.

- Drive business expansion into new markets and service areas (infrastructure, real estate, industrial projects, etc.).

- Represent the company with government authorities, investors, partners, and stakeholders.

Financial & Business Performance:

- Deliver revenue, margin, and cash flow targets in line with annual business plans.

- Manage capital expenditure, cost optimization, and project profitability.

- Secure financing, tenders, and contracts to support business growth.

Operational Excellence:

- Lead and manage large-scale construction projects from planning to execution.

- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations as per local standards or world-class HSE practices.

- Implement efficient project management systems, cost-control measures, and risk management practices.

- Oversee procurement, supply chain, and vendor relationships.

Team Leadership & Management:

- Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing leadership and project team; empowering local and expatriate talent.

- Foster a collaborative culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.

- Implement structured workforce planning, training, and development programs.

- Leverage strong team management and delegation skills to drive execution across multiple projects and geographies.

Stakeholder & Client Relations:

- Act as the face of the company with clients, government authorities, investors, and strategic partners.

- Strengthen existing client relationships and secure new contracts.

- Represent the company in negotiations, industry forums, and business associations.

Governance & Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to corporate governance, ethical standards, and local/international laws.

- Oversee financial audits, risk management, and reporting to the Board.

- Maintain transparent communication with shareholders and stakeholders.

Education & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is madatory.

- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent preferred.

- Professional certifications in Project Management (PMP/Prince2) or

- Chartered Engineer credentials desirable.

Experience Requirements:

- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in construction, infrastructure, or related industries, including at least 7 years in senior executive roles.

- Strong team handling and management experience across diverse teams and geographies.

- Candidates with leadership experience in the military or defense-related infrastructure projects will be considered.

- Experience in Africa or international exposure preferred.

- Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects, budgets, and P&L responsibility.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million-dollar projects with complex stakeholder environments.

- Strong knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.

- Experience in stakeholder management, government relations, and contract negotiations.

Compensation Range - $5000, plus accommodation, vehicle, driver, fuel, medicals, tickets, visa, 30 days paid leave once in a year etc.,
