Role Overview:


We are seeking a seasoned Chief Operating Officer to spearhead our manufacturing operations in Hyderabad. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee the end-to-end operational strategy for our API, intermediate, and specialty chemicals business units. You will work closely with the Board of Directors, plant heads, and commercial leadership to drive manufacturing excellence, supply chain efficiency, and regulatory compliance. By optimizing production cycles and scaling our technical capabilities, you will directly influence the company's market positioning, profitability, and ability to meet the complex demands of our global pharmaceutical clientele.


Key Responsibilities:


- Direct the entire manufacturing value chain to ensure seamless production of high-quality APIs and specialty chemicals, meeting stringent global quality standards and delivery timelines.

- Formulate and execute long-term operational strategies that enhance plant productivity, reduce cost-to-serve, and improve yield across all product lines.


- Lead cross-functional teams across production, quality assurance, EHS, and supply chain management to foster a culture of safety, operational rigor, and continuous improvement.

- Manage capital expenditure programs and facility expansions to ensure our infrastructure remains at the cutting edge of pharmaceutical manufacturing technology.



- Collaborate with the commercial and R&D divisions to streamline the transition of new products from pilot scale to commercial manufacturing, ensuring rapid time-to-market.


Required Skillset:


- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale, multi-site chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing operations with a deep understanding of API synthesis and intermediate production processes.

- Proven ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes, including USFDA, EMA, and other international quality compliance frameworks.


- Exceptional leadership presence with the capacity to mentor senior management teams and drive organizational change across diverse operational functions.

- Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage P&L responsibilities, optimize operational budgets, and drive sustainable margin expansion.



- Advanced degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field, complemented by a strong track record of strategic decision-making in high-growth

environments.



- High degree of adaptability to an on-site work environment in Hyderabad, with the ability to engage effectively with shop-floor teams and executive stakeholders alike.
