Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Location: Hubballi, Karnataka

We are hiring on behalf of a high-impact organization seeking an exceptional Chief Operating Officer (COO) to drive the next phase of organizational growth and transformation.

This is a leadership role for a systems thinker with strong commercial acumen, entrepreneurial instincts, and the ability to build high-performing organizations at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead enterprise-wide operations across programs, finance, technology, people, and administration.

- Own organizational P&L, financial planning, resource allocation, and long-term sustainability.

- Design and strengthen operating systems, governance frameworks, and execution excellence across functions.

- Lead strategic planning, organizational growth, and institutional expansion.

- Build and manage a high-performing organization of 500+ employees.

- Drive cross-functional alignment, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.

- Build strategic partnerships with corporates, government, donors, investors, and ecosystem stakeholders.

- Champion innovation, organizational capability building, and scalable growth initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in building and scaling complex organizations.

- Proven P&L ownership with strong financial and operational management capabilities.

- Exceptional systems thinking with the ability to simplify complexity and build scalable operating models.

- Entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated success in driving growth, transformation, and institutional excellence.

- Experience leading organizations with 500+ employees.

- Outstanding strategic thinking, execution capability, and stakeholder management skills.

- Track record in business development, partnerships, fundraising, or resource mobilization is highly desirable.

- Experience in the skilling sector is not required. Leaders from diverse industries with strong operational and strategic leadership experience are encouraged to apply.
