The role will lead overall business growth, brand strategy, and market expansion, integrating strategic brand-building with operational excellence. The incumbent will drive innovation, consumer marketing, and channel development with full P&L accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee business P&L, ensuring ROI-led investments and sustainable profitability.
- Define and execute brand strategy, positioning, and communication architecture.
- Lead integrated ATL, BTL, and digital campaigns to build strong consumer connect and market share.
- Partner with R&D and Supply Chain on product innovation, portfolio expansion, and quality excellence.
- Drive trade marketing, retail visibility, and distribution reach across channels.
- Use consumer and market insights to guide innovation, pricing, and go-to-market decisions.
- Build, mentor, and lead cross-functional teams including Heads of Sales, Marketing, Operations HR and Finance
- Foster a performance-driven, consumer-focused culture aligned with growth and brand vision.
Candidate Profile:
- Education: MBA/PGDM in Marketing or General Management from a reputed institute.
- Experience: 10-15 years in FMCG with demonstrated success in brand leadership, innovation, and commercial management - ideally within dairy, food, or beverage categories.
- Exposure: Proven track record across traditional retail, modern trade, and digital commerce.
- Attributes: Strategic thinker with strong execution capability; consumer-obsessed, creative, analytical, and commercially astute.
- Preferred Age: Mid-30s to early 40s.
