Chief Operating Officer - Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

Manufacturing Excellence:

- Lead multi-plant operations with a focus on efficiency, quality, safety, and scalability.

- Drive Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, and automation initiatives.

- Enable agile, customer-centric manufacturing.

- Injection Molding experience is a must, and looking for someone who has handled multiple plants.

Supply Chain & Logistics:

- Build a resilient and agile supply chain (planning, inventory, logistics).

- Implement robust S&OP and demand forecasting frameworks.

- Strengthen vendor ecosystem and distribution efficiency.

Purchase Leadership (Capex & Opex):

- Lead strategic sourcing across Capex & Opex categories.

- Drive vendor development, cost optimization, and long-term contracts.

- Implement digitized procurement processes and governance frameworks.

Strategic Growth & Innovation:

- Drive global partnerships, JVs, and technology tie-ups.

- Lead new product development and portfolio strategy.

- Implement structured PLM frameworks.

Digital Transformation (Industry 4.0):

- Build and execute Digital Factory roadmap (AI/ML, IoT, analytics).

- Enable data-driven decision-making and predictive operations.

ESG, Risk & Compliance:

- Integrate sustainability and ESG frameworks into operations.

- Ensure compliance, governance, and risk mitigation.

Leadership & Culture:

- Build high-performing teams across Manufacturing, SCM, and Purchase.

- Drive a performance-led, innovation-driven culture.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Engineering graduate; MBA/PGDM preferred.

- 20+ years of experience in Building Materials / Manufacturing industry.

- Strong exposure to multi-plant operations, supply chain, and procurement.

- Proven track record in driving large-scale transformation and growth.

- Strong commercial acumen and leadership capability.
