Chief Operating Officer (COO) - Logistics & QSR Operations

Reporting To: MD & CEO (India), dotted line to Group COO (APAC)

Role Mandate

The COO will lead large-scale, multi-site operations across logistics and QSR businesses with a strong focus on operational excellence, scalability, customer experience, profitability, and execution discipline.

The role requires a leader who can combine strategic thinking with "roll-up-the-sleeves" operational execution in high-volume, fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end operations across logistics networks, warehouses, delivery systems, and QSR outlets

- Drive operational consistency, service quality, and execution excellence across regions

- Build scalable systems, SOPs, and governance frameworks

- Optimise supply chain efficiency, turnaround times, fleet utilisation, and inventory management

- Improve unit economics and operational profitability

- Drive cost optimisation and productivity enhancement initiatives

- Enhance customer satisfaction and delivery experience

- Build strong service recovery and operational responsiveness mechanisms

- Improve operational metrics including SLA adherence, turnaround time, and order fulfilment

- Support new market launches, store expansion, dark kitchens, fulfilment centres, and franchise operations

- Build scalable operating models for growth

- Drive integration of technology and automation into operations

- Lead large frontline and middle-management teams

- Build a culture of accountability, speed, ownership, and continuous improvement

- Develop succession pipelines for operational leadership

Experience & Qualifications

- 15+ years of operational leadership experience

- Strong exposure to logistics, QSR, retail, e-commerce, or supply chain-intensive businesses

- Experience managing geographically distributed operations at scale

- Strong understanding of operational KPIs and customer-centric business models

- Proven track record in scaling operations and improving profitability

- Exposure to digital operations, automation, and operational analytics preferred
