Chief Operating Officer - Events & Sports

Overview:

Lead overall operations across sports, events, and entertainment verticals including stadium operations, league management, sponsorships, business development, government liaison, legal, and athlete management - driving execution, growth, and organizational strategy.

- Oversee end-to-end operations across all business verticals: venue operations, league management, sponsorships, business development, team management, legal, and marketing.

- Drive organizational strategy and scale operations across India, UAE/Middle East, Sri Lanka, Africa, Europe, and the Americas.

- Own P&L, budgeting, and resource allocation across events and league mandates.

- Build and lead cross-functional teams spanning operations, legal, marketing, and finance.

- Ensure compliance, risk management, and quality standards across high-stakes live events.

- Represent strategic partnership, expansion, and investment discussions.

Requirements:

- 12+ years in sports management, event operations, or senior business leadership.

- Proven track record managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects (leagues, stadiums, or government events preferred).

- Strong stakeholder management and government liaison experience.

- Excellent P&L ownership and operational management skills.

- Willingness to travel extensively and work under high-pressure, time-critical deadlines.

- Strong knowledge of business development, revenue generation, and sponsorships.
