Job Description: Chief Operating Officer (COO) - EV Fleet Company (EV 2-Wheeler & EV 3-Wheeler)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and oversee the operational functions of our innovative EV fleet company specializing in electric 2-wheelers and 3-wheelers. The COO will be responsible for driving operational excellence, scaling business operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting the company's growth objectives in the rapidly evolving EV sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Develop and implement efficient operational strategies for manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, and after-sales services related to EV 2-wheelers and 3-wheelers.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the executive team to define company goals, growth plans, and market expansion strategies, ensuring alignment with operational capabilities.
Supply Chain & Manufacturing: Oversee procurement, production processes, quality control, inventory management, and logistics to optimize cost and efficiency.
Sales & Distribution: Build and manage distribution channels, dealer networks, and customer service frameworks to ensure widespread availability and customer satisfaction.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant government regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies pertinent to electric vehicles.
Innovation & Product Development: Work closely with R&D teams to incorporate customer feedback, improve product features, and adapt to technological advancements.
Team Leadership: Lead and develop cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Financial Management: Monitor operational budgets, optimize resource allocation, and implement cost-control measures to meet financial targets.
Market Analysis: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in operations management within the EV industry or automotive sector.
- Strong understanding of electric vehicle technology, manufacturing processes, and supply chain logistics.
- Demonstrated leadership in scaling operations, managing cross-functional teams, and driving business growth.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and sustainability initiatives in the EV market.
