We are looking to help a client hire leadership talent - the incumbent will be the COO for one of the large and well known realty brands in Chennai. Preferably and engineer (civil) and a management graduate, this person will have a distinguished track record handling revenues and P and L in the scale of approx 500 crores, Must have handled sales, marketing, strategy, land acquisition, statutory issues, legal and HR - so to say the entire spectrum of cross functional tactics, direction, and leadership.
- Full P&L ownership of the business.
- Oversee complete project lifecycle - from tendering, planning, procurement, engineering, and execution to closure.
- Lead project execution ensuring timelines, quality, cost control, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive business growth, new project acquisition, and customer relationship management.
- Build and manage high-performing teams and ensure smooth collaboration with architects, consultants, vendors, and government bodies.
- Build and mentor a strong internal team across functions.
- Spearhead business development, client engagement, and growth initiatives.
- Implement risk management frameworks and internal guidelines for project delivery and financial controls.
- This role will report to the Board of Directors and Promoter, and be responsible for the P and L, top-line and bottom-line of this prestigious and fast growing real estate brand. Sales, Marketing, Presales and post sales support, land acquisition and land bank management, liaison with state government and statutory bodies etc are part of the role, with all the functional heads reporting in directly.
