As we embark on this exciting journey, we are looking for a dynamic and driven individual to join us as our Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a clear pathway to a co-founder role within 24-36 months, based on performance.

Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the operational foundation of our premium home line e-commerce business. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual to build and scale a startup from the ground up while earning equity on the cap table. The role demands a mix of operational expertise, business acumen, and a passion for creating exceptional customer experiences in the e-commerce space.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operational Leadership: Oversee end-to-end operations including supply chain management, inventory planning, vendor relationships, and logistics to ensure seamless product delivery.

- E-commerce Strategy: Drive the development and execution of the online platform strategy, focusing on user experience, conversion optimization, and customer retention.

- Team Building & Management: Build and lead cross-functional teams across operations, marketing, and customer service to achieve business goals.

- Financial Oversight: Collaborate on budgeting, cost optimization, and revenue growth strategies to ensure profitability and scalability.

- Customer Experience: Champion a customer-first approach by implementing processes that enhance satisfaction, loyalty, and brand value in the premium segment.

- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor KPIs for operational efficiency, sales growth, and customer engagement, reporting directly to the founder(s).

- Growth & Scaling: Identify opportunities for business expansion, partnerships, and process improvements to support rapid growth in the competitive e-commerce landscape.

What Were Looking For:

- Experience: 3-6 years of relevant work experience in operations, e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods, with a proven track record of managing teams and driving business outcomes.

- Educational Background: MBA or equivalent from a reputed institute (preferred but not mandatory).

- Entrepreneurial Mindset: A self-starter with a hunger to build something from scratch, comfortable with ambiguity, and excited by the prospect of transitioning to a co-founder role in 24-36 months.

- Operational Expertise: Strong understanding of e-commerce operations, supply chain, and customer experience management.

- Leadership Skills: Ability to inspire and manage teams, make data-driven decisions, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills to manage stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams.

- Passion for Premium Brands: An appreciation for design, quality, and premium customer experiences in the home or lifestyle segment is a plus.
