Role Summary:

Team builder who loves translating strategy into efficient action and using data to drive quality. The Chief Operating Officer ensures that we deliver impact effectively and efficiently. From coaching and growing the team, to establishing management processes, to quick problem solving and crisis management, this role needs someone with strong leadership, bias for action, and first principles thinking.

You will be responsible for:

Ensure smooth, efficient delivery of our programmes, optimal use of resources, and a safe, high- impact environment for all our stakeholders.

To do this, you will :

- Build a strong team, committed to the goal, that lives our beliefs and behaviours in all actions, and delivers against our plans.

- Build clarity on the strategy, goals, and their individual plans so all team members make decisions based on this chain.

- Make sure that money and resources are used effectively. The team has what they need to deliver our goals.

- Ensure easy, efficient, consistent design and delivery of high impact programmes.

- Ensure high quality spaces - clean, safe, welcoming, and encourage learning.

- Ensure that the impact of our work is visible internally and externally.

An ideal candidate must have:

- Experience in leading and managing large, diverse teams

- Ability to balance big-picture thinking with operational detail

- Data-driven approach to take decisions quickly and confidently

It would help if you:

- Have worked with service design and delivery team

- Have ability to synthesise complex problems and find simple solutions

- Knowledge of Infrastructure/building management and relevant regulations
