Role Overview:

As the Chief Operating Officer/Business Head for Warehouse Collateral Management, you will serve as the primary architect of our operational strategy, overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of commodity-backed financing and collateral integrity. You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless warehouse operations, rigorous risk mitigation, and high-standard service delivery for our banking and corporate clients. By balancing operational excellence with aggressive P&L growth, you will drive the business toward market leadership, ensuring that our collateral management processes remain robust, scalable, and compliant in a dynamic regulatory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct the full P&L of the collateral management vertical to ensure sustained profitability and efficient resource allocation across all regional warehouse hubs.

- Design and implement standardized operational protocols for commodity inspection, storage, and valuation to minimize risk exposure for lending partners.

- Lead large-scale field operations and warehouse teams to maintain high service levels and ensure the physical integrity of collateral assets.

- Cultivate strategic relationships with banking institutions, NBFCs, and commodity traders to expand the business footprint and secure long-term partnerships.

- Oversee the integration of digital monitoring tools and automated reporting systems to provide real-time visibility into collateral health for stakeholders.

- Drive compliance and audit readiness by enforcing strict adherence to industry regulations and internal safety standards across all warehouse locations.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex P&L responsibilities with a focus on cost optimization and revenue growth in the logistics or supply chain sector.

- Proven ability to lead large, geographically dispersed teams, fostering a culture of accountability, operational discipline, and high performance.

- Strong analytical acumen to assess market risks, evaluate commodity volatility, and translate complex data into actionable business strategies.

- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate high-stakes negotiations with senior banking executives and institutional clients.

- A postgraduate degree in Management or a related field from a premier institute is highly preferred to navigate the strategic demands of this leadership role.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Mumbai, maintaining a hands-on approach to problem-solving and operational oversight.

- Candidates must possess 12 - 20 years of progressive experience in collateral management, warehouse operations, or related supply chain finance domains.
