Role: COO / Business Head
About the Role:
- COO / Business Head for a high-growth, professionally managed business. This is a P&L leadership role with complete ownership of General Trade (GT) sales, distribution, and business scale-up.
- The role involves building a strong GT engine, driving aggressive growth, and managing end-to-end business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end P&L: revenue, margins, and profitability
- Drive General Trade (GT) sales across geographies (urban + rural)
- Build and scale distribution & dealer network at a national level
- Lead sales strategy, execution, and market expansion
- Drive primary & secondary sales, volume growth, and market share
- Strengthen trade marketing, channel engagement, and retailer programs
- Ensure strong demand planning, supply chain alignment, and availability
- Identify new growth opportunities, markets, and business models
- Build and lead large, high-performing sales and cross-functional teams
Candidate Profile:
- 20-25+ years of experience in Sales / GT / Business Leadership roles
- Strong background in Spices, Masala, Food, Distribution-heavy industries
- Proven experience managing large-scale GT businesses
- Strong exposure to rural & semi-urban markets
