Experience: 25-30 Years

Qualification: MFSc / BFSc or Fisheries Background (MBA - Operations preferred but not mandatory)

Joining: Immediate joiners preferred

Travel: As per business requirements

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manufacturing & Plant Operations

- Oversee complete plant operations ensuring optimum capacity utilization and cost efficiency

- Drive production planning, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives

- Ensure adherence to safety standards and operational excellence

- Implement best practices in feed formulation, production, and plant maintenance

2. Sales & Marketing

- Lead sales strategy for Aqua Feed and Pet Feed businesses to achieve volume and revenue targets

- Expand dealer/distributor network and develop new markets

- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements

- Collaborate with technical and field teams to strengthen farmer/customer engagement

3. Quality Management Systems (QMS)

- Establish and monitor robust quality control systems across manufacturing and supply chain

- Ensure product quality meets industry standards and customer expectations

- Implement SOPs, process audits, and continuous quality improvement initiatives

4. Audits & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with regulatory and certification standards such as BAP, BRC, FDA, EIA, etc.

- Lead internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of observations

- Maintain documentation and regulatory reporting standards

5. Credit Control & Financial Discipline

- Oversee credit policies and ensure effective receivables management

- Work closely with finance team to control working capital and reduce bad debts

- Monitor sales realization, margins, and cost structures

6. Logistics & Supply Chain

- Manage end-to-end supply chain including procurement, inventory, warehousing, and distribution

- Optimize logistics cost and ensure timely product delivery

- Strengthen vendor and transport management systems

7. Leadership & Team Management

- Build and lead a high-performance cross-functional team

- Drive accountability, performance tracking, and target achievement across departments

- Develop succession planning and leadership pipeline
