Role Summary The Chief of Staff is a highly leveraged role that acts as a strategic thought partner, execution driver, and communication hub for the CEO/CXO.
This individual will manage critical strategic projects and ensure organizational alignment and operating rhythm.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Execution: Manage and track the progress of the top 3-5 strategic priorities for the CEO/CXO, identifying risks and bottlenecks.
Meeting Preparation & Cadence: Plan, organize, and facilitate executive meetings (Board meetings, quarterly reviews, leadership offsites), ensuring agendas are focused and decisions are documented and followed up on.
Communication Hub: Act as a central communication point between the CEO/CXO and functional heads (Finance, Product, Tech), filtering and prioritizing information flow.
Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct rapid, high-impact analysis and research on competitive landscape, internal data, and potential business shifts.
Gatekeeper & Proxy: Act as a trusted sounding board and proxy for the leader, helping to prioritize their time and attention on the highest-leverage activities.
Required Qualifications & Skills
MBA (Mandatory): Full-time MBA from a top-tier B-School (IIMs/ISB/XLRI).
Experience:
- 5-8 years of high-performance experience in a demanding environment, such as Strategy Consulting, Private Equity, or a fast-paced corporate strategy/BD role.
- Exceptional organizational skills, project management acumen, and ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential information.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, demonstrate sound judgment, and thrive in ambiguity
