Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical, business-savvy, and results-driven Strategic Assistant to support the COO. This role is designed for a high-potential professional who can act as an extension of the COO - enabling smarter decision-making, driving execution of strategic priorities, and ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams.
This is a high-visibility role that combines elements of business strategy, project management, and executive coordination.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Support & Business Planning
- Work closely with the COO on strategic initiatives, business reviews, and operational planning
- Track and analyze KPIs, OKRs, and performance metrics across departments
- Prepare strategic briefs, dashboards, and recommendations for decision-making
2. Project Management & Execution
- Drive execution of high-priority projects and ensure timely follow-up on deliverables
- Identify roadblocks and support resolution across functions
- Ensure alignment between strategic goals and operational execution
3. Communication & Collaboration
- Facilitate effective communication between the COO and internal/external stakeholders
- Draft executive-level presentations, reports, and board materials
- Represent the COO in select meetings or task forces, capturing outcomes and driving action
4. Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement
- Analyze current workflows and recommend process enhancements
- Track progress of transformation initiatives and special projects
- Coordinate with key teams to monitor implementation and impact
5. Confidential Support & Executive Prioritization
- Manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Help prioritize the COO's agenda by evaluating urgency and strategic value
- Act as a thought partner, providing independent insights and perspective
Qualifications & Skills
- Masters' degree in Business, Economics, or related field
- Experience in strategy, consulting, operations, or business analytics
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical mindset and familiarity with data tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- High emotional intelligence and ability to work with senior leadership
- Experience in fast-paced, cross-functional, high-stakes environments
