
Chief Of Staff - Rural Commerce
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly driven and strategic Chief of Staff to partner closely with the CEO and leadership team. This role requires a seasoned professional who can combine strategic thinking, execution excellence, and cross-functional leadership to accelerate business growth and organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate brings a blend of consulting, operating, and execution experience, and thrives in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Drive annual and quarterly business planning processes with leadership.
- Translate the CEOs vision into executable strategies and measurable goals.
- Monitor company-wide performance metrics and ensure accountability.
Business Operations & Problem Solving:
- Lead high-priority projects and special initiatives across functions.
- Identify bottlenecks, propose solutions, and ensure operational efficiency.
- Own cross-functional dashboards, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
CEO Office & Stakeholder Management:
- Act as an extension of the CEO in internal and external forums.
- Coordinate with investors, board members, and strategic partners.
- Manage CEO priorities, communications, and follow-ups for seamless execution.
Leadership & Culture Building:
- Work closely with senior leadership to align on business priorities.
- Establish organizational rhythms (reviews, OKRs, governance).
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative work culture.
Special Projects & Growth Initiatives:
- Evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and expansion plays.
- Lead due diligence, market research, and competitor benchmarking.
- Incubate and scale new initiatives till handover to business teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10 to 15 years of work experience with a strong mix of consulting + operating/startup exposure.
- Proven track record in strategy, operations, or program management roles.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree preferred (Tier-1/Tier-2 B-School background a plus).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Experience working with CXOs/Founders and managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
