Our client is an exciting, fast growing D2C player in the jewelry space. They are seeking a seasoned, business-savvy Chief of Staff to work directly with the Directors, playing a pivotal role in aligning company vision with execution. This is a senior leadership role, ideal for a dynamic professional who has deep experience in operations, brand management, new business initiatives, and strategic planning-while managing a team of high-performing staff across verticals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Drive execution of cross-functional strategic initiatives on behalf of the Directors.
- Serve as a business partner on operational decision-making, performance tracking, and functional excellence.
- Translate vision and goals into action plans, tracking and reporting progress across the leadership team.
Brand & Business Strategy
- Oversee and refine brand positioning in alignment with business growth and customer insight.
- Collaborate with marketing, creative, and product teams to ensure brand integrity and market consistency.
- Own brand-led initiatives including launches, rebranding, or expansion into new customer segments.
New Initiatives & Business Building
- Incubate and lead new business initiatives from concept to execution.
- Evaluate new markets, product verticals, or operating models in collaboration with the leadership team.
- Support global expansion or diversification where applicable.
People Leadership & Hiring
- Build, lead, and mentor a team of staff managers supporting various verticals (ops, analytics, brand, etc.).
- Drive senior-level hiring decisions in collaboration with HR and department heads.
- Cultivate a high-performance, ownership-led culture across all levels.
Financial Stewardship
- Work closely with finance and business heads to manage P&L oversight, budgeting, and unit economics.
- Optimize cost structure and efficiency across projects and teams.
- Own periodic business reviews with financial performance and goal alignment.
Qualifications
- 7-12 years of experience in cross-functional leadership roles involving brand, operations, and strategic execution. Ideally past experience as a Chief of staff / founder's office role will be an advantage
- Strong exposure to scaling organizations, preferably in high-growth consumer, digital, or retail sectors.
- Proven track record in P&L ownership, leadership hiring, and driving execution across functions.
- MBA from IIM/ISB or an equivalent top-tier institution (mandatory).
- Strong leadership presence with experience interfacing with boards and C-suite stakeholders.
