A century-old Indian group, listed and promoter-led, with businesses across consumer and lifestyle, textiles, real estate and engineering.

The Opportunity:

The President Strategy & Special Projects runs eight corporate functions for the group Strategy, M&A, Information Technology, Corporate Communications, Administration and the group trust among them and reports directly to the Chairman & Managing Director.

You will partner closely with him driving strategic initiatives, preparing the presentations that decisions get made on, tracking what's been committed, and making sure execution actually lands across business units. It is a high-impact, CXO-facing seat that will test your problem solving, your analysis, your writing, and your ability to hold your nerve under pressure and read a complicated organisation. Few roles at this level put you this close to how a listed Indian group is run.

One thing to flag upfront: the group's banding structure calls this an Executive Assistant. The work is chief-of-staff strategy, analysis, board decks, reviews and special projects. No diary, no travel booking, no secretarial component.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic planning and business reviews supporting the President across planning cycles, critical projects and the routine performance reviews.

- The goal-setting and KRA process across the corporate functions: setting it, auditing it, and reviewing the results with the President.

- Board decks, strategic memos, leadership review presentations and business cases for new growth ventures.

- Research and analysis financial analysis, competitor benchmarking, industry studies and feasibility work behind group decisions.

- KPI and milestone tracking across senior leadership teams, with follow-up on every critical action item until it closes.

- Coordination across business units to make sure action items and follow-ups are executed, not just recorded.

- High-stakes communication CXO-level correspondence, executive briefs, and meeting follow-ups drafted on behalf of the President, for internal and external stakeholders.

- Two to three special initiatives, from conception to completion, run independently.

What we are looking for:

- Chartered Accountant, 3-8 years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, a founder's or MD's office, investment banking, or a strategic management role.

- You've worked directly with CXO or senior leadership and managed cross-functional projects end to end.

- You've built strategic review decks, market benchmarking studies, financial analysis and execution dashboards and you can tell us what changed because of them.

- You've operated in a multi-business environment and driven execution through influence, without direct authority. This matters more than anything else on this list.

- You understand corporate strategy frameworks, business model evaluation and market assessment, and can structure a messy problem into something decidable.

- You're good at C-suite presentations and strategic storytelling board decks, investor material, business reviews.

- You write well clear, short, and safe with confidential information and you're comfortable in ambiguity and pace. Strong MS Office; Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
