Chief Of Staff - EdTech - IIM/CA

Role and Responsibilities:

- Perform validation of key assumptions in operating model and business plan

- Design/Modify templates and dashboards for targeted and meaningful monthly reviews of

individual group company/Business Unit (BU)

- Monitor and evaluate execution strategies against various BU KPIs

- Prior to monthly review, in the presentation and dashboard by respective group company/BU, ascertain that

- No important update for the business numbers/strategic project or strategic input is missing

- Perform validation of key data-points and assumptions for business outlook

- Run Special Project success evaluation in the company

- Setup robust internal tracking through identifying the right lead-lag metrics, clear dashboards for decision making and communication

- Drive the development of 5-year and 1-year strategic and operating plans for the holding

company in collaboration with all CEOs across the group companies/BUs and CXOs of the holding company

- Monthly variance analysis with business units to validate forecasts and ensure deviations

remain within tolerance levels.

- Prepare financial scenarios/sensitivity analysis for new initiatives or restructuring decisions.

- Consolidate weekly cash flow position at group level and monitor liquidity.

- Prepare and share weekly MIS updates with CMD covering key business performance indicators.

- Wide working knowledge of management strategies, financial accounting, business acumen, and implementation of new technologies

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and handle multiple priorities simultaneously and effectively

- Excellent presentation and excel skills. Digital and Tech savvy

Education and Experience:

- MBA in Finance from Top Tier B-school or CA

- 2 to 5 years of experience in Corporate Strategy/Business Consulting/MD or CEO Office/Chief of Staff roles. Experience in Education/Edtech space preferred but not mandatory

- Proficiency in market and industry research, connecting the dots to business, making business plans and tracking its execution

- Local Chennai based candidate or those with Chennai as native and good at spoken Tamil required
