Job Description: Chief of Staff

Location: Mumbai preferred; Delhi may be considered with willingness to travel

About the Role:

We are looking for a commercially astute and execution - oriented Chief of Staff to work closely with the founder and drive strategic priorities across a diversified business group spanning entertainment, news, education and new business initiatives.

This is a broad, cross - functional role combining business strategy, corporate planning and hands - on execution. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating multiple businesses, collaborating with senior leadership and translating strategic priorities into measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive strategic initiatives and business plans across businesses, ensuring effective execution and follow - through.

- Work with business leaders on revenue growth, sales, cost management and operational priorities.

- Support corporate strategy, business planning, fundraising and investor discussions.

- Coordinate with senior stakeholders across businesses to align priorities and resolve challenges.

- Contribute to evaluating and incubating new business opportunities.

- Analyse business performance, financial information and commercial opportunities to support decision - making.

- Prepare business reviews, management presentations and strategic recommendations.

- Track key priorities, decisions and deliverables to ensure timely execution.

- Handle sensitive business matters and confidential information with discretion.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- 8 - 10 years of experience in business strategy, corporate development, a Founder's Office/CEO's Office, management consulting or a comparable business - facing role.

- Experience in a fast - paced, less - hierarchical environment, such as a startup or an established business undergoing transformation.

- Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to evaluate commercial opportunities and understand business performance.

- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of initiatives and drive them from planning through execution.

- Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder - management skills.

- Ability to work across functions and businesses, manage competing priorities and influence senior stakeholders.

- A proactive, hands - on approach with sound judgement, adaptability and a strong sense of accountability.

- High standards of integrity, discretion and professionalism.

An MBA or management qualification is preferred. Candidates from finance or CA backgrounds may also be considered, provided they demonstrate strong business orientation and execution capabilities.
