Job Title: Chief of Staff - Consumer Electronics Business

Role Overview
- The Chief of Staff - Consumer Electronics will serve as a key strategic and operational partner to the Managing Director, driving execution of business priorities, overseeing program management, and managing P&L performance across multiple countries including India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and China.
- This is a high-impact leadership role requiring strong business acumen, financial insight, and the ability to drive alignment across markets and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Planning
- Work closely with the Managing Director to define and execute the business strategy for the Consumer Electronics division across assigned markets.
- Lead annual business planning and forecasting processes across regions.
- Identify new growth opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion possibilities.
- Ensure country operations are aligned with Group goals and profitability targets.
P&L and Financial Management
- Oversee country-level P&L performance, ensuring financial targets and margins are achieved.
- Analyze business performance, pricing strategies, and cost structures to optimize profitability.
- Review sales performance and partner with finance and sales teams for performance tracking and forecasting.
- Support strategic decisions related to inventory, distribution channels, and capital investments.
Program & Operations Management
- Drive end-to-end program management for key strategic initiatives and cross-market projects.
- Implement standardized operating frameworks to enhance efficiency and performance visibility across geographies.
- Collaborate with regional leaders to ensure effective execution of new launches, product strategies, and distribution programs.
- Track performance metrics and ensure accountability through structured reviews and dashboards.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Managing Director on business performance and strategy.
- Coordinate communication, follow-ups, and decision-making across country heads and functional leaders.
- Prepare business reports, presentations, and reviews for the Managing Director and Group leadership.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and performance excellence across markets.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree from a reputed institution.
- 10-15 years of experience in business management, strategy, or P&L leadership roles within consumer electronics, FMCG, or distribution industries.
- Proven experience in multi-country operations, preferably across South Asia and East Asia.
- Strong understanding of channel distribution, pricing, and supply chain models.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
