Role Overview

multi-billion dollar Indian conglomerate with a global footprint is looking to hire a Chief of Staff for the Chairman's Office. The role will act as a strategic partner to the Chairman and senior leadership team, supporting strategic planning, execution of key initiatives, and ensuring effective coordination across business functions.

The position requires a high degree of analytical ability, business acumen, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple high-impact initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution

- Support the Chairman in driving strategic priorities and business initiatives.

- Track progress of key strategic projects and ensure timely execution.

- Conduct research, analysis, and prepare strategic presentations for leadership discussions.

Advisory & Decision Support

- Provide analytical and strategic inputs to assist in decision-making.

- Develop business insights through financial and operational analysis.

Cross-Functional Coordination

- Act as a central point of coordination between the Chairman's Office and various business units.

- Ensure alignment and follow-through on key organizational priorities.

Operational Oversight

- Monitor performance metrics and assist in reviewing operational performance across functions.

- Identify areas for operational improvement and support implementation of initiatives.

Meetings & Governance

- Prepare briefing notes, agenda documents, and action trackers for leadership meetings.

- Ensure effective follow-up and closure of action items.

Project & Performance Management

- Manage and track key projects across departments.

- Maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks for leadership visibility.

Stakeholder Management

- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on strategic matters.

- Support communication and alignment across senior leadership teams.

Confidential & Sensitive Matters

- Handle confidential information with high levels of discretion and professionalism.

Candidate Profile

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification - Mandatory.

- 6-10 years of professional experience.

- Prior experience in strategy roles / Chief of Staff / Executive Assistant to CXO / Chairman's Office / consulting / corporate strategy in manufacturing sector preferred.

- Strong analytical, financial modelling, and presentation skills.

- Ability to work closely with senior leadership and manage multiple priorities.

- High level of professionalism, discretion, and stakeholder management ability.
