Role Overview
The Chief of Staff will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and senior leadership team - driving key cross-functional initiatives, managing high-impact projects, and enabling data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Execution: Drive strategic priorities and ensure alignment across product, growth, and operations teams.
- Business Insights: Analyze performance metrics, identify growth opportunities, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Program Management: Oversee key initiatives - from concept to execution - ensuring timelines, outcomes, and stakeholder alignment.
- Decision Support: Partner with the CEO to prepare executive briefs, board materials, and investor updates.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Operations to translate strategic goals into operational outcomes.
- Problem Solving: Lead deep dives into critical business issues, recommend solutions, and track implementation impact.
- Leadership Support: Act as a trusted advisor and sounding board to the leadership team, enabling focus on the most critical priorities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Education:
- MBA from a Tier 1 institute (IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, ISB Hyderabad/Mohali, XLRI Jamshedpur).
- Consistent record of academic excellence (top ranks, awards, or merit distinctions).
Experience:
- 2-3 years post-MBA experience in B2C / consumer-facing businesses such as digital platforms, e-commerce, consumer tech, or edtech.
- Experience with top-tier consulting firms (McKinsey, BCG, Bain) will be a strong advantage. Prior experience in Chief of Staff, Strategy, or Founder's Office roles preferred.
- Exposure to early-stage environments or 0 to1 projects a plus (own venture, intrapreneurial initiatives, or leadership in high-growth teams).
