We're seeking to hire a dynamic Chief of Staff to support their CEO and leadership team in navigating this exciting growth phase.
Role Summary
- The Chief of Staff will serve as the CEO's close aid, acting as a strategic advisor, operational leader, and force multiplier to ensure seamless execution across the organization. In our fast-paced startup environment, this role is critical for aligning teams, managing priorities, and driving initiatives that support scaling manufacturing operations.
- You'll bridge strategy and execution, handling everything from internal communications to special projects, while fostering a collaborative culture. This position requires a versatile leader who thrives in ambiguity and can adapt to the unique challenges of a manufacturing startup, such as supply chain optimization and production scaling.
Location - Bangalore - Requires Sporadic Travel
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO to define and prioritize strategic initiatives, including long-term planning for production scaling, market expansion, and technology integration in manufacturing processes.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, streamlining processes across departments like Sourcing, production, and sales to enhance efficiency and address bottlenecks.
- Act as a liaison between the executive team, and external stakeholders (e.g., suppliers and partners), ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals.
- Lead special projects, such as implementing lean manufacturing techniques, Tech led Solutioning, etc.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, including setting OKRs, organizing meetings, and tracking progress on key performance indicators related to manufacturing output and quality.
- Support team building and recruitment, particularly for roles in operations, engineering, and supply chain, to build a high-performing organization.
- Conduct operational analyses, evaluate risks, and provide data-driven insights to inform decisions on budgeting, resource allocation, and process improvements.
- Identify organizational improvements, resolve issues in areas like workflow or vendor relations, and drive initiatives to foster a resilient startup culture.
- Handle internal and external communications, including preparing reports, newsletters, and presentations for board meetings or investor updates.
Qualifications and Experience
- B.Tech in metallurgy from a Tier 1 institute. (Preferred)
- 3+ years of professional experience as a chief of staff.
