Role Overview : As the
Chief Medical Officer at our innovative health tech company, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of healthcare for women and children. You will provide medical leadership and strategic direction, ensuring our products and services are clinically sound, safe, and effective. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating closely with product development, clinical research, and marketing teams, as well as engaging with key opinion leaders and healthcare providers. You will be instrumental in translating medical insights into impactful product features and ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards of patient care. This role directly impacts the lives of countless patients and their families by improving access to quality healthcare and empowering them with the tools to make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities : - Provide medical leadership and strategic direction for product development, ensuring alignment with clinical best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with product teams to translate medical insights into innovative product features and functionalities that address unmet needs in pediatrics and gynecology.
- Lead and oversee clinical research initiatives, including protocol development, data analysis, and publication of results, to validate the efficacy and safety of our products.
- Serve as a medical expert and spokesperson, representing the company at industry conferences, scientific meetings, and interactions with key opinion leaders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, professional organizations, and patient advocacy groups to gather feedback and ensure our solutions are relevant and impactful.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines related to medical affairs and product development.
- Provide medical oversight for the company's pharmacovigilance program, ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of adverse events.
- Contribute to the development of medical education materials and training programs for healthcare professionals and patients.
Required Skillset : - Demonstrated ability to provide medical leadership and strategic direction within a health tech or pharmaceutical environment.
- Proven ability to translate clinical insights into innovative product features and functionalities.
- Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Board certification in Pediatrics or Gynecology is required.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Minimum of 8 - 20 years of experience in clinical practice, clinical research, or medical affairs.
