Chief Marketing Officer
Job Description:
We are seeking a visionary and execution-focused Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing strategy, drive growth, and further establish us as the premier brand in higher education.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Define and lead the overall marketing strategy to achieve ambitious growth and brand-building objectives.
- Set and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team to align marketing initiatives with business goals and revenue targets.
Brand Building & Positioning:
- Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies to enhance our reputation and visibility in the higher education and EdTech space.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels and touchpoints.
Growth & Performance Marketing:
- Drive customer acquisition, lead generation, and enrollment growth through scalable and profitable marketing channels (digital, offline, partnerships, etc.).
- Oversee and optimize campaigns across SEO, SEM, paid media, social, CRM, and content marketing.
Team Leadership:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and excellence.
- Guide team development, hiring, and upskilling to meet evolving business needs.
Market Insights & Analytics:
- Conduct and direct market research to understand trends, competitor positioning, and student preferences.
- Track, analyze, and report on campaign effectiveness and key marketing metrics, using insights to refine strategy.
Stakeholder Management:
- Manage relationships with external agencies, partners, and vendors to maximize marketing impact.
- Act as a brand ambassador for us at industry events, conferences, and in the media.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, ideally in EdTech, higher education, or high-growth consumer brands.
- Proven track record in designing and executing successful brand and growth marketing strategies that deliver measurable results.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and scale high-performing teams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing, performance marketing, and modern martech tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
