Role overview:

AMK Global Group is hiring a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to build an enterprise-grade marketing function. The CMO will lead brand, performance marketing, content, lifecycle/CRM, partnerships, and go-to-market execution with clear measurement and predictable impact on pipeline and revenue.


Reporting & work requirements:

Reports to: CEO / Business Head (as per structure)

Location: India (as per business requirement) Remote


Key responsibilities:


- Own marketing strategy and execution across brand and performance channels.


- Identify new growth levers through format innovation, regionalization, and audience expansion


- Build GTM plans per business line: positioning, offers, funnel and conversion optimisation.


- Establish marketing measurement and reporting: CAC, ROAS, LTV, pipeline contribution, conversion rates and payback.


- Lead performance marketing initiatives across SEO, SEM, paid campaigns, social media, and marketing automation to deliver measurable ROI.


- Build and manage the marketing organisation: hiring, structure, team performance and capability.


- Manage agency/vendor partners and ensure governance, quality and brand consistency.


- Define lead quality standards and align SLAs with Sales to improve lead-to-revenue outcomes.


- Develop experimentation roadmap and ensure structured testing, learning and iteration.


- Standardise brand guidelines, messaging and creative workflow for scale.


Must-have eligibility (non-negotiable):

- Experience in a large/renowned organisation (India/global) in senior marketing leadership.

- Must have been either: (a) CMO, or (b) direct/second-line report to CMO with meaningful ownership of major portfolios.


- Collaborate closely with Sales, Sponsorship, and Event Production teams to align on goals, leads, and conversions.


- Proven leadership of teams and budgets.


- Strong understanding of marketing governance, measurement and scale execution.


Preferred qualifications:

- Experience handling both brand and performance at scale.

- Experience in multi-business environments is a plus.


What success looks like (first 6 months)?

- Marketing dashboard and review cadence implemented and adopted.

- Improved unit economics and lead quality with visible measurement.

- Clear messaging and consistent brand execution across channels.

- Strong team structure and operating rhythm established.
