This is a Group CMO mandate covering multiple business verticals. The incumbent will architect and lead an integrated marketing charter across:

Mobility & automotive retail

Consumer digital platforms

AI & software services

Ed-tech and emerging technology ventures

The CMO will shape brand identity, drive customer engagement, enable digital demand engines, manage agency ecosystems, and ensure unified communication across Group companies. The role works directly with the Group MD and business heads, partnering closely with sales & product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand & Group Strategy

- Build and harmonize the Group brand architecture across legacy & new-age businesses

- Drive brand repositioning, storytelling, and consistent communication frameworks

- Lead integrated marketing initiatives - ATL, BTL, digital, content, influencer, events

Digital & Growth Marketing:

- Establish a strong digital brand presence and always-on content engine

- Build performance marketing, CRM, analytics, automation, and customer-lifecycle programs

- Drive digital demand generation for online business units and product lines

- Technology, Innovation & MarTech

- Deploy new-age MarTech stack - marketing automation, analytics, AI-driven insights

- Experiment with new platforms, engagement models, and digital experience innovation

Agency & Media Leadership:

- Manage PR, creative, digital, media, and performance agencies

- Evaluate and build selective in-house capability based on skill and ROI

Cross-Functional Leadership:

- Collaborate with sales leaders to align marketing with revenue outcomes

- Partner with product, tech, and business teams for GTM launches across business lines

Team & Culture:

- Build and mentor a high-performance marketing team

- Instill design thinking, creative excellence, and consumer-first culture

Candidate Profile

Must-Haves

- 10-20 years of experience in marketing leadership roles

- Exposure to consumer + technology-driven business environments

- Solid experience in brand building, digital growth, customer marketing, PR & communication

- Prior experience scaling brands across multi-segment or multi-business environments

Preferred Background:

- Automotive, mobility, consumer tech, digital commerce, AI/software services, or education-tech exposure

- Track record of building digital pipelines alongside traditional branding programs

- Experience working in evolving, transforming, or scale-up organizations

Key Competencies:

- Visionary marketing thinker with strong execution muscle

- Creative, energetic, resourceful leader with ability to influence at leadership levels

- Sharp commercial acumen with KPI-driven accountability

- Ability to operate in a legacy-plus-digital transformation ecosystem
