Chief Manager - Supply Planning

Job Purpose

The purpose for this position is to ensure that the Supply Network process is completed as per the schedule by aligning with Factories and Sales. The position's responsibility is end-to-end responsibility for delivery of Finished Goods to the Customers. Also, he/ she will have to focus on reduction in Reduction in stock outs and ensure much improved availability.

Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Strategy & Leadership:

- Define and execute a robust supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to align supply chain goals with overall business strategy.

- Represent the company in industry events, vendor networks, and regulatory forums to strengthen the company's image and influence.

Demand & Supply Planning:

- Lead the S&OP process to ensure accurate forecasting and capacity alignment.

- Collect and consolidate SKU-level sales forecasts from Sales & Marketing teams; translate into actionable production and procurement plans.

- Optimize planning to minimize obsolescence and manage shelf-life of materials

Customer Service & Order Fulfillment:

- Oversee order-to-cash cycle; ensure OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery.

- Lead the Customer Service team for seamless coordination between production, logistics, and sales.

- Continuously enhance customer satisfaction metrics.

Inventory & Risk Management:

- Maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess and ageing inventory, particularly for temperature-sensitive products.

- Identify and mitigate risks associated with raw material availability, regulatory changes, and transport disruptions.

- Collaborate with EHS, QA, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure compliance.

Compliance & Systems:

- Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations related to chemical handling, storage, and transportation.

- Drive digitization and leverage ERP (SAP) for data-driven decisions.
