Chief Manager - Property Underwriter

Description: The role is with one of the leading General Insurance Company.

Role: Commercial Underwriter Property/Engineering.

Reporting to: AVP.

Location: Delhi.

Responsibilities:

- Managing all complex underwriting quotes and/or proposals for the commercial segment.

- Responsible for underwriting guidelines and information sheets for the zone.

- Innovation in the underwriting approach to structure policy design.

- Identifying niche pockets within the segment for potential and sustainable business growth.

- Monitoring the claims and loss reserves of the segment and working in synergy with the claims team to optimize the loss reserves of that segment.

- Seamless working with the risk management team for controlling and managing losses for further improvement of the bottom line.

- To lead interactions with internal stakeholders and partners for speedy resolutions of identified issues.

- Preparation of MIS reports for management review highlighting concern areas and monitoring product management to ensure profitability.

Qualifications:

- Full-time Graduates/Post Graduates.

Experience:

- 5+ years of core underwriting in Property lines.
