Role Summary
As the Chief Manager Procurement Transmission Line, you will lead the end-to-end procurement and supply chain lifecycleensuring timely acquisition of critical materials, optimized costs, and alignment with sustainability objectives.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to bring strategic sourcing solutions to complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Develop and execute procurement strategies tailored to power transmission line requirements.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring favorable pricing and long-term supplier relationships.
Market Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor market trends and evaluate supplier capabilities to uncover new cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
Cross-functional Leadership
- Lead collaboration among procurement, engineering, project, and finance teams to ensure seamless project integration.
Risk Mitigation & Supply Continuity
- Identify supply chain risks and implement contingency plans to minimize project disruptions.
End-to-End Procurement Oversight
- Manage requisitions, RFQs, supplier selection, ordering, delivery, and quality assurance.
Sustainability & Responsible Sourcing
- Integrate environmental and social responsibility into procurement decisions, selecting suppliers aligned with ESG goals.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience
- 15+ years in procurement, with significant experience in power transmission/EHV line projects.
Education
- Bachelors in Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent; MBA or procurement certification (CPSM, CIPS, PMP) preferred.
Skills
- Expert in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier management; adept with procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa).
Leadership
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence internal stakeholders.
