JOB DUTIES

Job Summary:

Responsible for maintaining EHS management system and EHS culture for Railway Project.

Key Accountabilities:

Duty Statements:

Planning & Implementation:

- Check the compliance for Corporate / Legal / Project EHS requirements for Railway projects

- Conduct & prepare on site Emergency Plans, MMR, EHS MIS etc as per Corporate EHS directives.

- Support line management in implementing required ISO 14001 & ISO 45001

- Create Environment, Occupational Health & Safety awareness amongst all employee of the organization.

- Support the Site Manager to implement Environment Occupational Health & Safety policy in all site operations without any compromise

- Responsible for visiting at least the pre-defined number of sites/units to ensure the required corporate / legal / unit compliances.

- Take suitable actions to close the non-compliances with active help of Project team

- Daily inspection of site and identified unsafe act/unsafe condition

- Monthly reporting system to customer & corporate requirements

- Prepare EHS plan as per customer requirement

- Prepare HIRA & JSA as per site activities

- Motivational/Awareness program for workers, Engineer

- Coordinate EHS communications, like newsletter (Monthly), EHS Events/campaigns/ circular.

- Raksha app data collections, compilation & analysis SBU wise and prepare the presentation as per corporate requirement. Accident tracking report and CAPA implementation.

- Connect with SBU for review meeting and improvement plan of actions.

Supervising:

- Audit/ inspect the work area and guide the Employees to follow safety methods of work practice to eliminate unsafe condition, unsafe acts, and protect environment or minimize pollution

- Deliver training and review the effectiveness of the training conducted

- Advise on matters related to carrying out Project Safety Inspections

- In-depth knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001

- Expert in MS Office

- Risk Assessment Techniques

- Knowledge of Incident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis

- Assertiveness: has the ability to articulate and hold their own in pressured conversations and to manage the expectations of others whilst working under pressure

- Oral and written communication: has the ability and professionalism to communicate clear, concise and credible information

- Adaptability: has the ability to maintain good performance and quality of work under pressure and is prepared to manage last minute changes

B. Tech in Fire & Safety/Mechanical/Electrical/ other and Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety state recognized full time.
