Description:
- Will be responsible for overseeing all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) activities within the site.
- This includes developing and implementing EHS & ESG policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.
- Tasked with identifying potential hazards, conducting risk assessments, and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Should have good knowledge in ETP functioning, MEE, ATFD, Stripper Operations, etc. of API industry
- Ensure regulatory and statutory compliance.
- Will be responsible for managing emergency response plans, conducting regular safety audits, and providing training and guidance to employees on EHS best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
- Will have excellent communication and leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Timely generation of MIS.
- Responsible for obtaining & their compliances of all statutory permission or certification for site from various Govt authorities of pollution control boards (State & Central), MOEF, DISH, PESO, FIRE & SAFETY, District collector, Factory act, etc.
- Coordination with external bodies related to EHS like hospitals, fire stations, pollution control boards (State & Central), MOEF, DISH, PESO, FIRE & SAFETY, District collector, Factory inspector, etc.
- Responsible for process safety 24X7.
- Ensure HAZOP, PSSR, HIRA, etc. studies & their recommendations prior and post to start of process.
- Daily site round & report generation on EHS systems.
- Preparation, getting approval & maintaining of OPEX.
- Prepare the procedures/SOP for the smooth operations 24X7 of the ETP
