
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical claim assessments and adjudication for livestock and animal-based products
- Enhance underwriting protocols using field data, vet science, and actuarial insights
- Identify fraud triggers and portfolio-level claim trends to improve risk governance
- Support new product innovations alongside cross-functional leaders
- Build field capacity through training, documentation, and process design
- Engage with regulators and veterinary networks to ensure compliance and service quality
- Define success metrics across claims accuracy, speed, and customer transparency
Education & Experience Requirements
- Education: B.V.Sc. (Bachelor of Veterinary Science) required; postgraduate qualifications preferred
- Experience: 5-8 years in livestock insurance, with hands-on experience in claims and underwriting
- Special: Exposure to rural/agri/micro-insurance markets; experience working with field-based claim ecosystems

- Technical: Veterinary diagnostics, livestock morbidity/mortality profiling, claims lifecycle proficiency
- Leadership: Cross-functional coordination, field team enablement, influence in matrix environments
