Job Tiltle - CM/ AVP - Financial Reporting
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IGAAP, IND AS, and IRDAI guidelines
- Ensure timely submission of deliverables to the Finance Head, Audit Committee, Board of Directors, and regulatory bodies
- Lead the closure of statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits, coordinating with external auditors and internal teams
- Monitor and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and risk mitigation frameworks
- Oversee implementation and maintenance of IND AS modules and ensure accurate system-based accounting entries
- Analyze financial trends, variances, and projections to support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and resolve discrepancies
- Drive finance transformation initiatives and automation projects to enhance reporting efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8-12 years of post-qualification experience
- Proven experience in Life Insurance financial reporting is mandatory
- Strong command of Companies Act 2013, SEBI LODR, and IRDAI regulations
- Proficiency in financial systems and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
